Education is the key of all the progress & achievement, educational preparation of nurses, who contribute primarily towards the health of the community, needs constant attention keeping in mind the health needs of the society. In the light of the changing educational system of the country, the course in general nursing has been reorganized in to a one and half years programme. The programme is geared to the health needs of the country , the community and the individual; and it will serve as basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and
professional development so that they may make their maximum contribution to the Society as individual citizens and nurses.
Syllabus
A syllabus can only lay down minimum requirements and guidelines for classroom and clinical / field instruction. Planners of the curriculum for schools of Nursing are encouraged to work towards achieving higher level than the prescribed levels.

Admission Procedure For RANM (Nashik)
Medium of Instruction : English / Marathi
Admission Criteria :
a) Age: Minimum 17 years completed on or before July 31st of the year admission & Maximum age limit is 35 years.
b) Gender : Female
c) Educational Qualification: 10th Std. (SSC) with minimum 45% marks,relaxable 40% marks for SC, NT, OBC Students.
d) Student should have passed SSC in 1st attempt.
e) Minimum height of the student is 5ft (without shoes)
f) Student should be physically & mentally fit. Medical Certificate to this effect is required to be submitted

Action Against Ragging
The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999, which came in to existence from 15 May 1999 has the following provisions for Action against Ragging.
Ragging with in or outside off any educational institution is prohibited.
Whosoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institution shall on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term up to 2 years and or penalty which may extent to Rs. 10,000/=
Any student convicted of an offense of ragging shall be dismissed from the educational institution for period of 5 years form date of order of such dismissal.
Whenever any student or as the case may be there, the parent or guardian or teacher of the institute complains in writing about ragging to the head of educational institure shall, without prejudice to the foregoing provisions with in 7 days of receipts of complaints enquire into the matter mentioned in the complaint and if prima facie, it is found true, suspend the student who is accused of the offence and shall immediately firward the cimplaint to the police station having jurisdiction over the area in which the educational institution it is found that there is no substance, prima facie, in complaint received, he/she shall intimate the fact in writing to the complaint. The decision of the educational institution shall be final.
If the head of educational institution fails or neglects to act in the manner specified in secton 'd' above when a complaint of ragging is made, such person shall be dimmed to have abetted the offence and shall on conviction be punished as provided for in section 'b' above.
Discipline....
All the Students live as a member of the same family in perfect harmony. There are no group clashes, unfair means in Examination and ragging. We are having atmosphere for the academic development, physical development & cultural development of the student. We personally take care of the students Parents receive regular information about their wards. The Students are given best possible instructions not only in the classrooms but also through well-planned for getting knowledge about industry. It also enhances the interaction between the college and industry. Annual Gatherubg, College Magazine, Souvenir are the added attractions.
Students have to attend all theory and laboratory hours during working days from the first day of the academic year. In case of absebce due ti unavoidable circumstances, prior permission from the Principal is to be taken. In case of sickness, students will have produce a Medical Certificates with an application from their parents or guardians. In sych a case, parents/guardians should inform the authorities immediately.
During the teaching hours, the main lobby, all the corridors and the area surrounding the library are to be observed as silent zones. Students cause any disturbance such as loud noise or vehiele horns in these zones shall be liable to pay a fine, at the discretion of the authorities.
Students should strike a proper balance between extra-curricular activities & academic requirements. Student's participation in extra-curricular activities will not be allowed to interfere in their academic schedule.
Students will not indulge in any kind of misconduct or indiscipline within or outside the campus.
Students will not indulge in any anti-social activities and will not form a grout causing any hindrance to the academic & administrtive activities of the college. Those who will do so will be punished and discipllinary action will be taken by the authorities.
Students shall not damage the property of the instirute. Cost of such damage will be recovered from the students, parents, guardians of the students.
Students are strictly prohibited from possessing or consuming tobacco, tobacco product and narcotics drugs in & out of the campus.
Regging & such activities inside or outside the campus are strictly prohibited by law.
Breach of rules will make the students liable for police action and would result into cancellation of admission to the course.
